I love my man Godfrey I watch it quite often and each cast member has done their job wonderfully
William Powell is amazing as Godfrey and Carole Lombard as Irene and a special mention to Alice Brady as Angelica she is so funny!

The "forgotten men" in this movie are what we now call "homeless" people. Thousands of those "forgottten men" were WWI vets that came home from the war to find that after they had served their country, there was really no longer a place for them at home. They had many of the same mental and physical challenges that our service men and women today suffer.
I absolutely LOVE William Powell. He is great as Godfrey.
This movie is great to find here for free. This one along with "Arsenic and Old Lace", "The Awful Truth" and "Libeled Lady" are some of the best of the "screwball comedies".

William Powell, while quite an excellent and capable actor, could not convince me he was a butler. This is truly a great movie and perfect for the late, late show, which is where I saw it for the first time!

Yes, We do need a third version, The other two are chopped up and poor quality. This is the best version uploaded so far and I thank the person for uploading it.
People should not be discouraged from uploading a movie Just because another version is available. Maybe you should spend more time uploading and less time moaning because someone uploaded the same movie,
