How To Be A Police Officer In Grand Theft Auto V GTA 5 LSPDFR 0.4 2019 Installation Tutorial
If you are brand new to all of this, my tutorial will help you install the LSPFR police mod for the first time so you can play as a cop in Grand Theft Auto V. If you already have LSPDFR 0.3 installed, this tutorial will also help you upgrade your LSPDFR 0.3 to LSPDFR 0.4.
First thing you are going to need to kickstart your law enforcement career in GTA 5 is to have a computer capable of running the game. Here are the recommended system requirements and computer specs for the game.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
OS : Windows 10 64 Bit, Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHz (8 CPUs)
Memory: 8 GB of RAM
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD 7870 2GB
Storage: 72 GB
For LSPDFR, I recommend having a computer stronger than what is listed above to avoid having laggy gameplay.
For comparison purposes, here are my current PC specs.
MY CURRENT PC SPECS:
Intel i7 6700k processor, NVIDIA GTX 980 Graphic Card and 16 GB of Ram.
Buy the Computer Version of Grand Theft Auto V
Now that you have your computer, the next step is to buy the computer version of Grand Theft Auto V. This tutorial is only for the PC and will not work for Xbox or Playstation or any other consoles. I recommend you buying Grand Theft Auto V from steam and downloading it to your computer but you can also buy the retail version from any retailer and install the disk version.

Now that we have a computer & Grand Theft Auto V installed, we can download LSPDFR.
Please watch my tutorial and follow along as you follow the following steps.
Step 1:
Click here to download: LSPDFR: http://www.lcpdfr.com/files/file/7792-lspd-first-response/
(Both the automatic or manual version can be used)
Click here to download the latest Rage Hook Plugin: https://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx
(Depending on when you are installing LSPDFR, there may be a newer version of Ragehook than the one that comes with LSPDFR. Always check to be sure you have the latest version of Ragehook.)
Step 2: Extract The Files
Automatic Installation, extract lspdfr_04_setup.exe to your desktop or any other location. Double click to open and run the installer and follow the instructions.
Manual Installation, extract files to your Grand Theft Auto V folder which could be in two different locations depending on if you have the steam or retail version.
Steam version extract to C:\Program Files(x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\ Grand Theft Auto V
Retail version extract to C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V
After completing that step, next thing is to confirm that your Ragehook plugin is up to date.
Download Ragehook http://ragepluginhook.net/Downloads.aspx
Step 3: Run Ragehook Plugin
Now that we have everything installed, lets fire up Ragehook and make sure everything works. Double click the RAGEPluginHook.exe file in your Grand Theft Auto V folder, listed above and follow the directions.

Now you should be in game and ready to go. You should see police station blips on the map. If you do not see them, press F4, then type LoadPluggin and select LSPDFirstReponse.
Then go to a police station and go inside to go on duty. Good luck out there and stay safe on the streets of San Andreas.
