Hi,

I'm here to provide you guys with a thread that will have some character templates available for use when 3.0 releases -- either on PTS, or live server.

These templates are useful for people who are wanting a nice looking character, but either A. want to do a very quick leveling rush to get ahead, or B. have trouble making nice looking characters.

You are always free to just use these as a simple base to work off of. Change anything you want until you like it.

If you find a look you like, all you need to do is download the file and put it into the proper folder. But remember: these templates only work for the character type stated (FEMALE DWARF), and of course, will not be usable on NA until the races are released.

I will take requests; PM me.

How to Install:
Find a look you like. Download the .g file from the puu.sh link. Your next step is to locate the file and right click -> copy/cut. Now that you've done all of that, you will locate your "Custom" folder. This is generally found in the My Documents/ArcheAge/USER/Custom directory. Paste/move the file into that folder. It will be available for use upon PTS/live 3.0 release.

How to Use:
In character creation, or the salon, click the Load button and click the file you want to use. Hit apply.

Yes, these files work no matter which server/locale you are on. This has been tested.

I was pretty sure that this was a preset. But I figured out that they removed it :c It was replaced by presets that the KR playerbase tends to use when they make their characters.

I would prefer a lighter skin shade myself, but the face is really well done :v I don't understand how people do it... I spent 3 hours looking at online references and my Harani still looks like an asian lol. Yes I know this is Dwarf...

It's just you go changing until have a beautiful face, changing every detail, an hour stays the way you want it..

I like that too tho it looks asian still :P I've been trying to figure out how to get my faces to change in overall shape other than just being more round or not lol, its been a struggle tho I am happy with my Harani look now. Face looks a little large in the chin but I can't seem to get it to slide in the way I like so I just did the best I could. Think my nose is is too high too but youknow what? I'm not gonna nit pick it anymore lol.

I also spent a lot of time on my harani. But the one above did really well :o

I like your character too! Tho I think the eyes are pushing into the "Anime" realm lol, just a tad bit big maybe. Otherwise you did a good job of removing the asian aspects I am stuck to lol.

Yup that's what my character is wearing! I know the twintail hairstyle is not very well seen but I've been using it for a few years in games because it usual has lovely movement and lets you have really long hair without the usual clipping that accompanies that. I'm not disappointed so far this hairstyle behaves in a very lovely way in game!

Geez, these are fantastic! You guys managed to make them look not so child like. I must have spent at least 30 minutes on my and she still looks too young. Any general tips for making them look a little older? I'd share a pic of her but I have yet to take a screenshot.
