How do you download a large Google Doc file into PDF? 0 Recommended Answers 5 Replies231 Upvotes
I'm currently using the Chrome browser, and I'm trying to download a large document (180 pages), and convert it into PDF. But nothing is happening when I click 'convert to PDF'. Any clues?

The following steps are recommended for converting large doc files to Pdf;
- On your computer, open a Google Doc.
- At the top, click File
Print.
- At the left, next to "Destination," select Save as PDF.
- At the top, click Save.

I am experiencing a similar issue.
I am experiencing a similar issue.
My google doc is 180+ pages. I need to "Download as a pdf" to maintain internal doc links and external URL links. Print to PDF does not carry the links to the resulting pdf.
When I select Download to PDF only a select few times will it actually download the doc as a pdf. When it doesn't work it seems that it is trying. In the bottom right of the web page it briefly says "waiting for docs.google.com". The download of the pdf never happens.
