Rhonda Byrnes is an Australian author and also television producer. She is known for her works such as Loves me, Loves me not. This was before her success as the author of the book “The Secret”. She drew inspiration for her famed book from the teachings of Wallace Wattles, who is also a famous author.
The Secret can be referred to as a motivational book, based on the law of attraction. The basic idea of the principle is that we attract what we think. Things such as success and wealth, are well with anyone’s grasp once we change the thoughts we put out into the universe. Your mind will play the role of a magnet, and attract whatever your thoughts are into reality. Whether your thoughts revolve around success and riches or worry and misfortune, whichever you fill your mind with will become your reality. This is because each thought you have is like a signal. When this signal is emitted from your mind, it goes out and gathers similar signals or frequencies and returns them to you. This is just to further highlight why this is called the law of attraction and enforces why positive thinking is so important.
Byrne also highlights within her books how everything is shaped by the mind from your health to your body weight. She also speaks on how to use the law of attraction to your advantage from the principle of picturing your desire and pretending that it’s already yours.
