Non Members downloading photo files

I am a team photographer for a college team. I need and want to allow parents and team members to download albums and original files. For some reason they can't. Is it necessary for them to be Flickr members as well?

I clicked on the little download icon at the lower right of the photo (the arrow pointing down to a flat line), and I was taken to the Flickr download page where the photo can be easily downloaded in any of a variety of sizes.

So if you provide your clients with a link to the photo or an album, and give them instruction on how to use Flickr's download feature, you should be okay.

Albums download as a zip file which may take time for Flickr to prepare. I have not tried doing that while completely logged out, so I am not sure of the process for those without Flickr accounts. On the Firefox browser, individual files download into the "Downloads" folder without any message, so it is not obvious that it happens.
