Several issues in one, wasn't sure how to name the title.
Tested on the Nightly Build of 30.July 2018 (https://downloads.openmw.org/osx/nightly/OpenMW-29062018-a45d86b.dmg).
Basically: OpenMW REFUSES to recognize the path to Data Files of Morrowind. This is DESPITE the openmw.cfg file clearly having the lines:
data="/Users/balmoraishome/Library/Application Support/openmw/data" data="/Users/balmoraishome/Desktop/TES Morrowind - openMW/Morrowind/Data Files"
fallback-archive=Morrowind.bsa
Under "Data Files" section of OpenMW launcher, under "Content - Select a game file", nothing shows up and clicking the drop down menu does nothing.
Under "Play" section of OpenMW launcher, clicking "play" brings up a pop up menu stating it cannot perform that action because no files have been selected.
Deleting the openmw.cfg and replacing it with a new one does not work, editing the current openmw.cfg does not work either.
I am unsure what exactly caused the issue: up until this morning it had worked fine. I attempted to manually install some mods and edited the openmw.cfg.
This issue happened directly after that and I cannot fix it, making OpenMW unplayable.
Note: this is definitely not a mod issue, so what mods I installed are irrelevant.
Furthermore, it used to be possible to delete the openmw.cfg file and OpenMW would automatically regenerate the file with all default data.
This is no longer the case: upon deletion of openmw.cfg, the file DOES respawn - except it only has the single line:
encoding=win1252
Making it quite useless.
